language
is a means of self-expression. By using language, people can express what they
want and what they are thinking in their mind. Language is a tool that can be
used to express the needs. Language as self expression has close correlation with
reading. By using language, students can know what message or content from the
text or task that have been read by them. There is a function of language by
written, it express what writer means is.
- Meaning based
language
is a meaning based. Language is used to express the meaning. Language that is
used by spoken or written are meaningful. so, using of language means showing the meaning.

In
this case language can be adapted as adapting language to fit the context.

Socio cultural issues
Belief must be suitable with
culture, because learner’s own culture can influence the successful of belief.

Sociopolitical issues
Belief must be consisted of multi complex functions. So that, belief can
be applied not only in education but also in work.

Learning occurs in individually
Based on the concept of reading, learning occurs in individually. It is
caused, reading is studied by each student in English class.

skill
In learning of reading, the purpose is not only getting the knowledge but
also improving the skill. So, studying can be balance. Knowledge and skill are
needed for student.

Teaching is knowledge transmission
Teaching is a process to transfer the knowledge that is owned by the
teacher to students. Teacher must be able to transfer his/her knowledge well.
Because, fail in transferring knowledge means fail in studying process.

The teacher must manage the learning process, so that there is goal that
can be reached.

Teacher is resource
As a resource, teacher must be able to give student’s needs. In this case
must be based on reading as a subject that is studied.
